For WebTek Promotions, creating a successful event has never been just about entertainment—it’s about making a lasting impact on the community. That’s exactly what inspired the creation of the Ghost Coast Festival.
Launched by WebTek Promotions under the leadership of Johnny Steverson Aman, the Ghost Coast Festival was designed as more than a Halloween celebration. From the very beginning, the festival was envisioned as a way to help preserve one of Galveston’s most treasured historic landmarks while introducing thousands of visitors to its incredible history.
The festival was created in partnership with the League-Kempner House, with the goal of generating awareness and raising funds for the nonprofit organization responsible for preserving this magnificent Victorian mansion. Rather than simply hosting another seasonal event, WebTek set out to create an immersive experience that celebrates Galveston’s rich history, architecture, folklore, and paranormal legends.
Creating the Brand from the Ground Up.
As with every WebTek-produced event, the project began with a blank canvas.
Our team developed the complete Ghost Coast Festival identity, including:
- Custom festival logo and branding
- Official website design and development
- Social media strategy and content creation
- Digital advertising campaigns
- Television commercials
- Print advertising and promotional materials
- Sponsor and vendor marketing packages
- Photography, videography, and media coverage
- Ticketing and online registration systems
Every element was carefully crafted to create a recognizable and professional brand that captures the mysterious atmosphere of Galveston’s haunted history while remaining welcoming to families, history lovers, and paranormal enthusiasts alike.

Bringing History to Life
The Ghost Coast Festival combines historic mansion tours, paranormal investigations, guest speakers, vendors, entertainment, ghost tours, and interactive experiences into a weekend that showcases Galveston in a completely unique way.
More importantly, every visitor who attends helps support the ongoing preservation efforts of the historic League-Kempner House.
By transforming the mansion into the centerpiece of an annual destination event, the festival not only generates financial support but also introduces thousands of new visitors to the important work being done by the nonprofit organization.
A Mission Beyond Marketing
One of WebTek Promotions’ core beliefs is that great branding can accomplish more than selling products—it can strengthen communities.
The Ghost Coast Festival is a perfect example of how strategic branding, creative storytelling, and professional marketing can turn an idea into an event that benefits an entire nonprofit organization.
From concept to execution, WebTek Promotions continues to produce every aspect of the festival while helping preserve one of Galveston’s most iconic historic homes for future generations.
